CYNTHIA M. FEY, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., QHHT, RTT, Certified Hypnotherapist
Cynthia Fey was raised in Saskatoon, Canada and on the road, travelling throughout the United States, with the Hubert Castle’s Shrine Circus. During the show season, she grew up with talented performing artists and animals that were on the Ed Sullivan Show and in Hollywood movies. This experience gave her a deep appreciation of the arts, culture, community, and people with unique gifts and abilities. She learned at an early age that being different can be a positive thing and that there is strength in diversity.
In later years Cynthia studied ancient and Indigenous teachings, cross-cultural education, Toaism, fine arts, astronomy, biology, and neuropsychology at university. Several university degrees later, she became a Professor/Faculty/Instructor/Field Experiences Coordinator in the teacher education programs at Aurora College in the Northwest Territories and University of Saskatchewan specializing in the areas of disabilities, arts, cross-cultural and Indigenous education. Over a couple of decades, Cynthia worked with thousands of adults to help them achieve their academic, career, and personal goals. She conducted research, facilitated professional workshops, and organized national conferences/events for a wide range of organizations, businesses, and educational groups. She also worked at Camp Easter Seal with adults and children with disabilities. As a versatile teacher, she collaborated with elementary school teachers and enjoyed teaching children as well as entertaining pre-schoolers every Friday for ten years, under the "Circle of Trees" at a local book store.
In 2014 Cynthia learned the value of hypnosis for military Veterans in her family. It was a time of crisis and major life changes for everyone in the family. But, as a wise man once said, "Who knows what's good or bad? Out of something bad, something good can come." These experiences led Cynthia to travelling to the United States and the United Kingdom for training in Dolores Cannon's Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique™ (QHHT®) and Marisa Peer's Rapid Transformational Therapy™ (RTT®). She received personal training from Julia Cannon and worked directly with Great Britain's top hypnotherapist, Marisa Peer. Now, Cynthia is an entrepreneur with international certifications as a counsellor and Certified Hypnotherapist.
After decades of professional teaching and counselling, Cynthia has additional skills that take her hypnotherapy practice to a higher level of service for people seeking powerful and lasting change.
